“Surgery is not just about skill—it’s about continuous improvement. Research today shapes the safety and success of tomorrow’s procedures.”
Aim
To enhance surgical care by identifying and implementing best practices that improve patient outcomes, reduce complications, and optimize healthcare resource utilization.

Objectives
- Conduct systematic review & meta-analysis studies, audits and observational studies to identify gaps in surgical care.
- Evaluate interventions that improve patient safety, infection control, and surgical efficiency.
- Develop evidence-based protocols for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
- Use systematic reviews and meta-analyses to assess best practices in surgical quality.
- Promote cost-effective surgical interventions through health economics research.
